Epping, NH Wedding Venues, Vendors, and JP Services

Here are a couple of great wedding venues in the town:

•American Legion Hall - Nice hall for a less expensive wedding ceremony and reception. Plenty of parking out back. Their website is currently down.

Holy Grail - "Don't let it be forgot, that once there was a spot, for one brief shining moment, that was known as Camelot." Did my first wedding here recently. While the restaurant is called the Holy Grail, the event venue is called Camelot, and it is indeed a shining spot for weddings in Epping. In fact, I'd call it the hidden gem in this area right now. I find it hard to believe that I live less than 10 minutes from this venue, and I didn't know it existed until recently. This is a great place for a wedding. There is a courtyard (where you can have your ceremony), and the venue itself, where your reception can take place (or your wedding if the weather is inclement). And, it is a pretty place - very picturesque. I officiated the wedding and provided the ceremony music, and things went very smoothly. The staff were very pleasant and quite helpful to us as we were setting up our music equipment. One of the great things about this place is that the venue building is right next to the courtyard, so your guests can move quickly from the ceremony site to the inside venue building. This can be an advantage on hot or potentially stormy days. The only "drawback" I can think of is that it only seats 100 people, so if your guest list is more than that, you'll have to find another ceremony site. Otherwise, this is a place you'll want to check out! Camelot Wedding Venue at the Holy Grail
Update: I recently officiated a wedding in the restaurant section of the venue in front of the fireplace, so you can consider that a possible site for a smaller, more informal affair with a handful of guests. The only caution I'll relate is about having the ceremony at peak dinner time. The wedding I did was at 5pm on a Saturday and the place was packed, making it very difficult to find a parking spot.

Josiah's Meetinghouse - Cool place with lots of historic charm. I recently performed my first wedding here outside at the gazebo. It was well coordinated and the venue professionals were friendly. Pics: Josiah's Meetinghouse
