Processional

Opening Prayer
Welcome everyone to the marriage of Groom's Full Name and Bride's Full Name. Let us bless this joyous union with prayer. Please bow your heads.

God of light, who gives us the longing for love and the capability of loving, we give you thanks for Groom and Bride, for their open hearts and willing spirits, and for the example of love that they embody here in our presence. Be with them on this joyous occasion of showing their love and making their vows; and be with us, their witnesses, that we may all be changed by what is said and witnessed here today. Amen.

Expression of Intent
{At this time, Bride and Groom will make public their intention to marry...}

Groom & Bride, please join hands.

Groom, Do you choose Bride to be your lawfully wedded wife; to love, honor, cherish, and be faithful to her throughout your life together?

Groom: I do!

Bride, Do you choose Groom to be your lawfully wedded husband; to love, honor, cherish, and be faithful to him throughout your life together?

Bride: I do!

Vows and Exchange of the Rings
{And now, Bride and Groom will say their vows and will exchange their wedding rings...}

Groom, please repeat after me:

I, Groom, take you Bride, to be my wife. I promise in the presence of God, and in the presence of our family and friends, to stand beside and love you always as your husband and as your friend, showing pride as both; in times of celebration and times of sadness; in times of pleasure and times of pain; in times of sickness and times of health. I give my love, my soul, myself, only to you, starting today for as long as we both shall live.
With this ring, I thee wed.

Bride, please repeat after me:

I, Bride, take you Groom, to be my husband. I promise in the presence of God, and in the presence of our family and friends, to stand beside and love you always as your wife and as your friend, showing pride as both; in times of celebration and times of sadness; in times of pleasure and times of pain; in times of sickness and times of health. I give my love, my soul, myself, only to you, starting today for as long as we both shall live.
With this ring, I thee wed.

Blessing
May God be with you and help you to grow together. May God bless and keep you. May God cause his face to shine upon you. May God lift his countenance upon you and give you peace. Amen.

Pronouncement of Marriage
{At this time we come to the Pronouncement of Marriage. The Pronouncement is my public, and legal, proclamation that Bride and Groom are married. It is the exact moment of Marriage...}

Now that you, Groom and you, Bride, have promised to give yourselves to one another and to love each other through your sacred vows and through the giving and receiving of your wedding rings, and by the power vested in me by God and the State of New Hampshire, I now pronounce you husband and wife.
Those whom God has joined together may he generously bless forever.

Permission to Kiss
